Our services
We are a Learning/Development Centre with specialised, highly trained teachers and therapists on our team. Little Lives Assessment and Therapy Centre has a multidisciplinary team of therapists and is in close collaboration with Chrysalis. Little Lives’ therapists are involved in the school on a day-to-day basis. They also run Group Therapy sessions at Chrysalis, which is included in the school fees. This fosters a collaborative approach with intensive therapeutic input throughout the day, which assists in achieving individual goals. Therapies that are available at school are Sensory Integration and DIR Floortime OT, Hippotherapy, Speech Therapy, Remedial Therapy and Hydrotherapy.
Beyond the Books
At Chrysalis Centre, we recognise that children don’t need to pass trigonometry or algebra to be successful… What they do need is TIME.
Time to connect, time to dream, time to learn, time to explore, time to wonder and TIME TO SUCCEED. Time is what Chrysalis and Little Lives is all about.
At Chrysalis we give our children TIME, and within that me, we provide them with access to resources, therapy, and super sparkly teachers to facilitate their growth. Every child’s needs are different, and if we can provide the time, space and support, every single child will thrive.

Upon screening of your child’s reports and assessing your application, we then move to book a week’s in-school screening assessment.

Our team will then give you an informal report and feedback to ascertain if there is a good fit for your child at our school

Sensory Integration
Sensory integration is the brain’s process of organising and responding to sensory information from our surroundings, influencing our behavior and daily experiences.
DIR Floortime OT
DIR Floortime is a child-centered therapy approach that nurtures emotional and cognitive development through interactive play and meaningful connections.
Hippotherapy
Hippotherapy, derived from the Greek word “hippos,” meaning horse, involves the therapeutic use of horses to address a wide range of paediatric occupational therapy goals. Unlike traditional horseback riding, where the focus is on riding skills.
Speech Therapy
Speech therapy is a therapeutic process that assists individuals in improving their communication and speech skills, addressing speech disorders, language difficulties, and related challenges.
Remedial Therapy
Remedial therapy involves therapeutic techniques and interventions aimed at addressing and improving physical or cognitive issues, helping individuals overcome challenges and enhance their overall well-being.
Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is a therapeutic approach that utilizes water-based exercises and treatments to promote physical rehabilitation, relieve pain, and improve overall health and well-being.
Biokinetics
Biokinetics is a healthcare discipline focused on promoting physical well-being and functional capacity through exercise and movement therapy, addressing a range of health conditions and injuries.
